about
Newcastle dream pop quartet Seeing Hands have revealed their second official release ‘It’s True’ as the follow-up to their hit debut single ‘I Knew You’ out earlier this year. Their latest offering, a potent mix of dreamy vocals and sumptuous guitar licks delicately sewn together with frontman Kev Curran’s lyricism, is sure to build on their debut effort and win plenty of fanfare in the process.
Having already received widespread acclaim from the online community and airplay on the likes of BBC 6 Music and XFM, the North East outfit have focused on honing their live craft over the last few months with support slots for acts including Day Wave, Beach Baby and Turnover.
With further new material in the works, the four-piece comprising of Kev Curran (vocals, guitar), Nick Hodgson (lead guitar), Jon Varty (bass) and Liam Guillan (drums) look set for a busy twelve months and ‘It’s True’ certainly acts as a real statement of intent going into 2017.
Produced by Alex Greaves and and mastered by Brian Lucey (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, The Shins), Seeing Hands’ ‘It’s True’ is released on 25th November and will be available on iTunes and Spotify.

Dear Tracks have delivered a stunning dream pop single called ‘Wildflower’, taken from their debut EP (available from February 23 via Track & Field). Not to be confused with ‘The Deer Tracks’ band, this foursome began in the fall of 2014 as the solo bedroom project of Michigan’s Matt Messore. It’s a promising start for the band who are looking to hit the road in Spring / Summer. Matthew Nangle
This is one of my favorite all time songs. It hits a key of emotional connection in a relationship which is seldom touched on - casualness, trust, safety in lowering defenses. That's what I hear when I'm listening.
Tape Waves also has a hint of Twee (Tiger Trap, Jale, etc.) in the mix which I enjoy. quintzal
